When dogs and kids grow up together, their bond can be one of the sweetest things in the world. They naturally become BFFs, and sometimes, a dog will take on a protective or nurturing side when around the child.
Jack the pug is one dog who enjoys having a brother. In a touching video shared on social media, Jack can be seen partaking in part of his morning routine: Waking his little brother.
The gentle Jack walks up to the sleeping boy and begins gently nudging him and giving him kisses. The small boy eventually wakes up, seemingly happy to be woken by the loving dog.
While not all dogs are as affectionate and sweet as Jack, it’s not super surprising he’s so good with his little brother. According to the American Kennel Club, pugs are naturally excellent around children.
The small but sturdy breed loves to love and be loved, regardless of if their person is a senior citizen or a small child.
Though mischievous at heart, pugs are naturally gentle, loving, and charming. They’re incredible family dogs, and Jack is a testament to that!
