Massive Newfoundland Wants To Be A Lap Dog

A lot of dogs want to be lap dogs, but it really only works when the pups are tiny. Sometimes, though, a larger dog will try to be a lap dog.

One of those dogs is a massive Newfoundland named Boss. The black pup is full of love and affection for his owner, but he might not realize just how large he really is.

According to the American Kennel Club, Newfoundland dogs can weigh up to 150lbs! They’re big dogs and Boss is no different.

Thankfully, they’re not just known for being big. They’re also known for being some of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs! They just want to love on their owners all day and have even been called “nanny dogs” for how good they are with children.

As the video shared by Rumble Viral below shows, Boss sees his owner sitting in an armchair and attempts to join her. It seems he’s blissfully unaware of his massive stature, and he simply wants to give his owner hugs and kisses.

He stays up, mostly on her lap, enjoying a lot of pets and love from his owner. It’s clear they both love each other.

He’d certainly make an awesome lap dog if he was just a tad smaller. Watch the sweet dog in the video below:
