Some dogs know how to make friends with just about anyone, including animals of a different species.
We see it time and time again, where a good-natured dog makes an unlikely friend, like a baby deer, a raccoon, or some other animal.
For Homer the bulldog, his best friend is a large horse named Corelli.
Both Homer and Corelli belong to Jose Fumero Hernandez. They live in Madrid, Spain, where Jose trains with horses, like Corelli, as a Spanish International showjumper.
While Jose may have gotten Corelli for business, so to speak, that doesn’t mean the horse is any less of the family, and Homer is always going out of his way to make sure he knows it.

Sometimes Homer will even sneak into the stables to get some cuddles and time with Corelli. Their bond is so precious!
One such time, Jose happened to pull out his camera just in time to capture the two greeting each other. In the video, you can see Homer running up to Corelli, who was in a stall.
Corelli reaches her head down and the two share a special moment together.
