As we are driving around through a country setting, we may see various road signs that warn us of the possibility that wildlife could cross the road in front of us. We sometimes may even joke that any wildlife that is not crossing at one of those areas is not paying attention to the rules.
It seems as if some of them, however, are willing to play ball.
Tim Osborne is a wildlife photographer who took a picture that shows us just how amusing wild animals can be. He was visiting Elk Island National Park near Edmonton when the opportunity for a perfect picture came into view.
Nice to see that the @ParksCanada staff have successfully trained the bison to use their marked crossings! #wildlife #alberta pic.twitter.com/diZd0Y6x8S

When he posted the picture of the bison crossing at a “bison crossing” sign, it got a lot of good reactions. He even got a response from Parks Canada, as they said how seriously they took their wildlife training. He captioned it: “Nice to see that the Parks Canada staff have successfully trained the bison to use their marked crossings!”

Since Osborne is a wildlife photographer, he had the equipment on hand so the picture could be taken from a safe distance. He used a long telephoto lens and in his words, he doesn’t mess around when it comes to bison and other large animals. They may seem tame but you wouldn’t want to mess with one.
After uploading the photo, he shared an update to let everyone know that the bison did, indeed, make it across the road safely.
In case anyone was wondering, yes, he did make it safely across the road. #alberta #wildlife pic.twitter.com/7tEVaIdeqX
