1. Window Squeegee or Rubber Bristle Brush

Then you can easily pick it up and toss it out. Similarly, a rubber bristle brush with a handle is very efficient in removing pet hair, especially in deep pile carpet.
2. Pumice Stone

While these stones are usually used to soften feet and remove dead skin from the body, they also work to remove pet hair. Simply rub the stone across the carpet to release the trapped hair.
3. Balloons

This one is more fun than practical, but it does work. When an inflated balloon is rubbed on carpet it gets a static charge – something you may remember from playing as a child – that attracts the pet hair. Just be sure to properly dispose of the balloon and pet hair.
4. Hairbrush

The hairbrush that you use to brush your pet or your own hair can also be used to clean your carpet. The bristles loosen the embedded pet hair and bring it to the top of the carpet. Simply collect all the fur balls and dispose of them.
5. Rubber Gloves

Grab those long rubber gloves under your kitchen sink that you use for cleaning and slip them on. Next, use both hands to rub over the carpet in short, sweeping strokes. You will be amazed at how the pet hair that was once trapped deep in the carpet is removed.
