Cat Is Minding His Own Business When Huge Puma Appears On TV And Totally Freaks Him Out

According to National Geographic, “dogs can perceive images on television similarly to the way we do, and they are intelligent enough to recognize onscreen images of animals as they would in real life.”

We recently saw an adorable example of this when Josh Myers sat down to watch The Lion King with his dog, Luna. Just as Mufasa plummeted to his death on the screen, Luna abruptly stopped playing with her toys and turned her attention to the movie. Luna was visibly emotional, crying and yelping during the tear-jerking death scene. Josh said it was one of the sweetest things he’d ever seen. (Check out that article by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.)

Since cats can see a bit more color than dogs, TV watching can be an even more intense experience for our feline friends.

The example you’re about to see has a much different conclusion than we saw with Luna.

Titan, a cat from Texas, was just minding his own business in the living room. While his owner watched TV, Titan cleaned his paws and paid little attention to the big screen in front of him.

His owner was randomly filming him, like he normally does (cats can be pretty entertaining, as I’m sure you know), when a giant puma flashed on the TV, bounding straight toward the camera.

Titan saw the sudden movement out the corner of his eye, looked up at the ferocious feline, and had one reaction and one reaction only: one big ‘ol “NOPE!”

Watch his reaction in this video!
